On the Trendo trading platform, one of the key measures for safeguarding users’ capital is negative balance protection, also known as Reset Wallet.
This feature is designed to prevent further losses under specific market conditions.
A negative balance occurs when the losses from open trades exceed the user’s account balance, and due to factors such as sharp price gaps or unusual market volatility, trades cannot be closed in time via stop-out.
As a result, the user’s account balance drops below zero.
For example, if your account balance is $1,000, and due to a sudden market fluctuation, your position closes with a $1,350 loss, your account balance will reach - $350.
At Trendo, users’ negative balances are fully protected automatically. This means that if your account balance turns negative, it is automatically reset to zero, and you will not be required to cover additional losses.
Automatic Reset: The Reset Wallet process is performed automatically by the system. Simply log out and log back into your trading account once, and your balance will be restored to zero. There is no need for a manual request.
Misuse of Protection: If any trading violation or misuse of the negative balance protection is detected in a user’s account, this feature may be disabled, and the user could be held responsible for the negative balance.
Deposits Before Reset: If you have made a deposit before the account is reset to zero, please contact us via Trendo’s online chat support for review.
In case of any errors during any stage of the process, please contact Trendo 24/7 support for assistance and guidance.
