In this article, you will learn about the concept of Stop Level and its impact on setting Take Profit, Stop Loss, and conditional orders on the Trendo trading platform.
Stop Level is the minimum allowable distance between the current market price and order levels such as Take Profit, Stop Loss, or conditional orders.
If this distance is not respected, the Trendo trading platform will not allow you to place or edit a Take Profit, Stop Loss, or conditional order and will display the error message:
"Take Profit or Stop Loss is not within the valid range."
To check the Stop Level of any instrument on Trendo:
On the Trendo trading platform, long-press the desired instrument.
In the instrument information section, the Stop Level value will be displayed.
Note: The Stop Level varies for each instrument and is set according to market conditions and the type of instrument.
If you encounter the error message: "Your order is not within the valid range" while placing an order, please take a screenshot of the order screen and error message and send it to Trendo support.
