In the Trendo trading platform, users can customize the appearance of their price charts according to their personal preferences, lighting conditions, type of analysis, and the market they are focusing on. This feature not only enhances user comfort during analysis but also improves accuracy and focus in making trading decisions.
To apply appearance changes to your chart, follow these steps:
Enter the chart of any trading symbol (for example, Gold or Bitcoin).
Tap the gear icon or settings at the bottom of the chart.
The chart settings menu will open.
In this section, you can modify the candle colors, background, chart type, gridlines, price display, and many other options according to your preferences.
Below are the available settings and their explanations:
Using this option, you can select the overall appearance of the chart in either Light or Dark mode. In Custom mode, you can manually choose the color for all chart elements.
The "Auto" option will automatically adjust the chart appearance based on the default settings.
This option allows you to set the background color of the chart to match the overall theme of the app or your personal trading style.
This section controls the color of text, prices, and main chart lines. To improve clarity, it is recommended to contrast these colors with the background.
Here, you can set the color for bullish and bearish candles. Typically, green or turquoise is used for bullish candles, and red for bearish candles.
In Trendo’s platform chart settings, the "Chart Mode" option allows you to choose the type of chart display based on your trading style and analysis. Several types of charts are available, each with its unique application:
Chart Mode Types in Trendo:
Candle (Classic Candle)
Standard Japanese candlestick charting. This mode is the most popular among traders and shows the opening, closing, high, and low prices for each time period.
CandleBar (Candle Bar)
Similar to the Japanese candlestick but with a different design. In this mode, vertical bars with short horizontal lines indicate the opening and closing prices.
Area (Line Chart)
A simple, smooth chart that displays price changes with a continuous line and shaded area beneath. Ideal for a quick market trend analysis.
HighLow
Shows only the high and low points of price for each time frame, omitting open and close prices, and focuses more on price volatility.
CandleHollow
Similar to the classic candle chart, but bullish candles are shown as hollow. This can help traders easily differentiate between upward and downward trends.
HeikinAshi
A special type of candlestick chart that smoothens market fluctuations for a clearer view of trends. It reduces price noise by averaging price data.
StepLine (Step Chart)
Displays price in a stepped manner. As long as the price doesn’t change, the line remains horizontal, then shifts to the next step when the price changes. This is ideal for showing support and resistance levels.
This option allows you to define which price the main chart line will be drawn based on, such as the opening (Open), closing (Close), highest (High), or lowest price (Low). The closing price is typically used for more accurate analysis.
If you're using a line chart, you can choose the line style. Available options include solid, dashed, or dotted lines.
If you've set the chart display to line or step mode, you can choose the color of this line in this section.
Show Grid
By enabling this option, horizontal and vertical grid lines will appear as background lines on the chart, helping improve chart readability.
Show Grid Effect
By enabling this option, the grid lines will be shown in a dashed pattern.
Grid Color
In this section, you can choose the color of the grid lines.
Show High and Low Prices
By enabling this option, the highest and lowest prices in the displayed time frame will appear numerically on the chart. This feature is very useful for analysts, especially when identifying key price levels.
Modern Order
By enabling this option, orders will be displayed with a modern and advanced user interface on the chart, making it easy to visually identify the trade type, profit, and loss. You can also directly close or edit trades from the chart.
If disabled, only the type, volume, and trade number will be shown in a simple format on the chart.
Show Remaining Time
Here, you can see the remaining time until the current candle closes. This feature is helpful when analyzing lower time frames.
After making any changes, be sure to click "Submit" to save and apply your settings to the chart.
To restore the chart to the default settings:
Go to the chart page.
Click the settings option (Theme).
In the Theme menu, select "Auto."
By selecting "Auto," the chart appearance will revert to the platform's default settings.
