What is an ECN Account?
An ECN account in the Forex market is a type of trading account that provides direct access to the interbank market without the intervention of a Dealing Desk (DD).
Features of an ECN Account
Traders are directly connected to a network of liquidity providers, such as banks and other brokers.
Trades are executed without intermediaries and at the highest execution speed.
The lowest spreads, as orders are directly matched with the market's main orders.
High transparency and better performance compared to DD accounts in various market conditions.
Brokers do not intervene in the spread on ECN accounts, and their income is solely derived from trading commissions.
